Personal Background

Robin Henderson was born and raised in Southern Maryland. Robin always wanted to become a cosmetologist or a nurse, with her ambition, she became a little of both.

After graduation from La Plata High School in 1982, Robin moved to Lancaster Pennsylvania. She enrolled in the Lancaster School of Cosmetology to become a licensed cosmetologist. While working full-time and attending school part-time, Robin only had the chance to complete 600 hours of training, half of the hours required to graduate, because of her pregnancy.

She was married and then divorced. While continuing to work in the health care industry for staffing agencies and home health care providers, Robin decided to return to school at the Thompson Institute in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to become a Medical Assistant. Graduating in 1996, Robin returned home from the State of Pennsylvania. She met a lovely man from Upper Marlboro, Maryland who asked her to marry him.

Anthony and Robin married June 1, 1996. Shortly after, Robin worked hard to earn 80 hours of training as an Operating Room Technician at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. In May 2000, Robin was given notice that because the company needed to reduce it's cost, her office management position was selected for elimination. That meant that she no longer had a job! After being off for two weeks with pay, she and her husband decided to start her own business. In June of 2000, Robin started a nursing staffing agency called Loyalty Nursing Service based out of their home. The company took off like a rocket and after three months, the office was relocated into a beautiful office in Waldorf, Maryland.

Robin decided, with the support of her husband, to invest the money and start another company, the Permanent Cosmetic Center. In January 2001, Robin returned to school to become a permanent cosmetic technician at The Ana Visage Institute in Tysons Corner, Virginia. There she received her Permanent Cosmetics and Face and Body Waxing Certification. In November 2001, Robin received a Certificate of Achievement from the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics located in Arlington, Texas. She took a rigorous class with one-on-one training to qualify as a Micropigmentation Specialist.

Robin Henderson is now the owner of two very successful businesses operating out of her beautiful multi-room salon located at:

Loyalty Nursing Service and the Permanent Cosmetic Center in Waldorf, Maryland.

Robin is a Christian, and acknowledges that Jesus is in control of her life and this is her call, to be able to help bring normality to abnormalities. Clients have told her, that it takes a lot of trust to be able to allow someone to get that close to their eyes and after meeting her, and entering her salon environment, they are 100% confident that they are in good hands and will be well taken care of.

She is blessed to be married to her wonderful husband, Anthony Henderson and they are blessed to have two beautiful children. Vaughn Coleman, sixteen years old, and Deija Henderson, four years old. Robin would also like to acknowledge her mother, Ethel Cooper, her sister, Gladys Fenwick, and her brother-in-law Andrew Henderson, who is her husband's identical twin brother. She thanks them for all of their support. Send Robin Henderson an e-mail message.
